Brevard County scored twice in the second inning on three hits and went on to beat Lakeland 5-1 Wednesday and complete a three-game sweep of the Flying Tigers. Lakeland took a 1-0 lead in the first on a Daniel Fields home run, but was shutdown the rest of the way. Fields would finish with three hits, including a double while Avisail Garcia had a pair of singles. Pitching was the dominant feature of the game as the two staffs each struck out 13 batters for a combined for strikeouts. The Flying Tigers hit the road for a six-game span starting Thursday night at 7 in Clearwater. — RECAP — BOX SCORE
