Byran Holaday’s first career grand slam highlighted a six-run seventh inning as Lakeland rallied for a 7-6 win over Bradenton on Wednesday. The Marauders took a 6-0 lead with a four-run third inning on a pair of homers and a two-run fifth inning. The Flying Tigers got one run back in the sixth as Holaday scored on a single by Francisco Martinez. In the big sixth, Lakeland sent 10 men to the plate on just three hits. In addition to the Holaday slam, Jordan Lennerton drove in two runs with a double to center. Jared Gayhart came on in relief in the eighth with the bases loaded and struck out the two batters he faced to record the save. The two teams continue their three-game series on Thursday with a 7 pm game at Joker Marchant Stadium.
