Lakeland Falls Hard to Bradenton 18-5
Bradenton scored 11 times in the final two innings to down Lakeland 18-5 on Thursday. The Flying Tigers led 3-1 in the second on four hits including a two-run double by Gustavo Nunez. The Marauders then scored four times in the fourth while Lakeland came back with two runs in the sixth on two hits and three walks to tie the score at 5-all. After scoring twice in the seventh, Bradenton plated five runs in the eighth and six more in the top of the ninth. The two clubs conclude their series Friday at 7 pm at Joker Marchant Stadium.
