LPD Search for Shooting Suspect

The Lakeland Police Department have released a police artist sketch of a suspect in the December 6, 2009 shooting of Florida Southern College freshman Andrew Tuccinardi.

Police report Tuccinardi was on the Lake Hollingsworth walking path just after midnight “when the suspect pulled up in a small sedan and asked Tuccinardi for directions. As Tuccinardi stepped up to the vehicle, the driver (and sole occupant) shot the victim and fled the scene.”

Police describe the suspect “as a fair skinned white male, 18 to 21 years of age, clean shaven with a military type “buzz” haircut.” They add that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
