Knowing a bit about how things went with the selection process, I can say that the RFP was put out there with a particular budget in mind. All of the architects had to keep within that budget with their ideas and presentations. Fundraising continues as USFP moves toward the process. As far as "matching" FL Southern's architecture, I doubt that this was where the original plan came from. The concept of designing a university with a polytechnic model in mind was the motivation for seeking an architect to meet the expectations for a modern look that will last forever.

Anybody know how USFP can afford one of the world's most renowned architects? Wonder if it was driven by the idea of the school trying to match Fla. Southern's architecture with a world class design of its own.
