According to World For Sale By Owner, the home at 3038 Cleveland Heights Blvd is for sale.
In this economy many are looking to sell their homes. However, it is unusual for a person running for city commission to have his or her home on the market.
It appears to be the case for this 2009 election as the home for sale at 3038 Cleveland Heights is occupied by James Goetz, candidate for the Lakeland City Commission.
Golf course within walking distance (right down the block). Very quiet area with plenty to do. Right in the middle of Tampa and Orlando so you can have the best of both worlds. Creative financing always an option. Bring all offers.
The Ledger recently wrote a story about the creative registration of the home:
Property records show the home changed owners several times in April 2006. It went from the Green Family Group Trust No. 3038 to a St. Petersburg woman named Cavilyn Dial Keown then to something called the Loxahatchee Group, which Florida Department of State records show is the Goetz Foundation of Florida operating under another name. — The Ledger
Selling a home in the district you plan to represent isn’t against election laws. However, if elected Goetz must remain a resident of the district. I’m surprised he isn’t keeping it. It sounds lovely.
Beautiful and spacious corner lot. Oversized carport attached to the house. 2000 square foot mother in law suite on property as well. It is two stories. 1 full bath in the mother in law suite. Can use upstairs loft as living area for self or rent it out for additional income. Very comfortable and huge asset to the home. It is one of a kind for the area. House has been recently updated. There is new electric, new plumbing, brand new roofs for main house and back house, updated gardening features, tile look driveway, new flooring and refurbished hardwood flooring. A/C has recently been serviced.
