Celebrate St. Patty’s Day With PACE Center For Girls

Make plans now to attend the 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Shenanigans “Giving Never Tasted So Good” Fundraiser benefiting Polk PACE Center for Girls this Friday, March 13, 6-10:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Lake Mirror Center in downtown Lakeland and will include signature dishes by:
• Zohra’s Lakeside Restaurant
• Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille
• Black and Brew Coffee House & Bistro
• Wine & Roses
• Terrie Lobb Catering
• Cakes for the Connoisseur
• Fred’s Southern Kitchen
• Shirley! She Caters!
• Catering & More
• Dixie Catering

There also will be wine, green margaritas, beer and soft drinks. Dance and be entertained by Norris Riggs & His Music Makers.

    Two points:

    (1) “Patty” is the diminutive for Patricia, St. Patrick was a male, the diminive is “Paddy”.

    (2) Unless you call Martin Luther King Day “Marty’s Day” could you knindly show the Patron Saint of Ireland, and by inference all Irish Americans, the courtesy of calling him Patrick?
