On the Road Under Cover of Smoke

Always mindful of safety, Billy Townsend couldn’t post the following questions while waiting on Interstate 4…

1) What is up with all the fires?

2) Why are all the worst drivers driving on I4 right now?

I apologize if I’ve misquoted him. Please imagine the incredulous tone to his voice as he pondered the pair of questions. — Chuck Welch

  1. I wasn’t aware that there were any good drivers using I-4, present company excluded of course. In the many years I made that drive, the phrase “drive it like you stole it” appeared to be the mantra for most of the drivers I saw weaving, dodging, and dashing betw. Orlando and Lakeland. So be careful, watch out for fools with Bollea dreams of glory, and don’t pay any attention to the cow in the swamp up next to Baseball City (or whatever it is they’re calling that wide spot on 27 these days). She likes it there.
