Last year, prime Christmas Parade watching positions were staked out early. You might want to consult the new route below to decide where to set out your folding chairs.
The parade is December 4th starting at 7pm.
The route will start at Lemon Street and Lake Beulah and move East to the corner of Lemon and Tennessee. They’ll turn North to follow Tennessee one block to the corner of Main and Tennessee. The parade will turn East again and follow Main for two blocks to Massachusetts. They’ll turn North again and travel Mass for one block to turn East onto Cedar.
The parade will travel Cedar past the Judging Stand until they turn South at Lake. The floats and such with then travel South until the corner of Lake and Orange. They’ll finish the parade by traveling West on Orange until they finish at the Lakeland Center.
Note: Don’t park on the parade route after 5 the day before. Those unable to watch the parade might want to consider Downtown traffic will be shut down like when a CSX train is traveling through on a Thursday morning. In other words, stick to Bartow Road and Sikes Blvd.
