Surprisingly, there were 154 Lakeland homes sold, which is an increase of 16% from the previous month. However, people familiar with statistics always tend to compare the data from last year, which also shows an increase of about 12% in total sales.
The average selling price for September was $166,370; almost a 6% increase from August. However, comparing to last year’s average sold price, the home value decline of 14% is still very much affecting Lakeland homes and most likely continue, since distressed properties will have an impact on the local real estate market.
