Biden Time?

Joe Biden - World Economic Forum Extraordinary Annual Meeting Jordan 2003A well-placed source tells me Joe Biden is likely to come to Lakeland Tuesday afternoon for what sounds like a rally, possibly somewhere within the Lake Mirror complex. (For the record, just like last time with Obama, the source of this information is not my wife. I know no one seems to believe that – I’m talking to you Bill Rufty – but…oh well. This source is different than the Obama source. I am married to neither of them. End of disclaimer.) None of this is final. Campaigns can change on a dime. But this is the scuttlebutt for now. Stay tuned.

Speaking of Bill Rufty, he’s a good guy. And you should check out his blog. Some good stuff recently, particularly related to the intersection of the bailout and local politics. This Hollis Hooks post is fascinating.

Update: Due to the Sunday death of his mother-in-law, Senator Biden has canceled his Lakeland appearance.

  1. Nice photo. I wonder how many World Economic Forums Sarah Palin has attended.
