Dinosaur Media

Ledger

Of course, newspapers aren’t extinct, but they are changing. Becoming chickens as it were. Take a good look at these paper boxes. Your grandkids will know what they are as well as your high school age kids know where you used a 45 record adaptor. — Chuck Welch

  3. Well, I posted it because I liked the photograph. The main reason why I publish all of Tom Hagerty’s photographs.

The point of my text? I’d say it is evident, but I’ll try to state it another way:

Wow, newspaper boxes. It’s getting harder to find those. The newspaper business is changing. You won’t see many of these boxes as newspapers change and move completely online. It’ll get to the point where kids don’t even recognize newspaper boxes.

You know, it might be like newsstands. I’m sure you have to explain to children how different media was when you were a kid.

I hope I’ve cleared that up for you.

As for your second sentence…thank you. I’m glad you’ve noticed we concentrate on Lakeland information. That’s why I called this site Lakeland Local.
