Why So Orange, Ledger?

Ledger Orange Obama

This morning’s online Ledger gave me a little jolt. The photo of Barack Obama speaking to WKMG’s Jacqueline London had a heavy orange tint on both their faces. I checked it on three monitors with two machines, so it’s not my system. I wonder what filter the Ledger is using for their photo work?

  1. Not sure what caused that. It was fine when I went home last night and then I woke up and the picture was weird. That version was put up around 2 a.m. so I’ll have to find out who that was and what they did.

  3. It’s not your monitors (as you’ve already concluded). The orange or red tints happen under certain lighting conditions combined with a certain range of skin tones. We have been adjusting the color settings to minimize this. Changes we made last week should make that better. We are still watching and will continue to adjust.
