The household hazardous waste and “end-of-life electronics” event is going strong. By 9:20 they had already had 2about 200 cars and trucks full of items. Officials expect 600-800 by the end of the event at 1 pm.
You’ll need to get the items down to the Lakeland Health Department located at 3241 Lakeland Hills Boulevard.
Household Hazardous Waste – Accepted Materials
Paints, paint thinners, florescent light bulbs, motor oil, drain cleaners, pool chemicals, insecticides, household batteries, etc. No biohazard (medical) waste or business waste will be accepted.
End-of-Life Electronics – Accepted Materials
Computers, monitors, keyboards, terminals, televisions, stereos, printers, fax machines, video games consoles, wireless devices, etc. No more than five items per household please
