The article was posted this morning and by afternoon the usual arguments had played out in the comments section. I haven’t mentioned the many other blogs that are following the story. After a few dozen “Polk County: Educating Children for the 19th Century” jokes you start to feel weary.
This topic really affects Lakeland residents and I have a daughter in a Polk County school. That gives me two good reasons to delve into this controversy.
I just hope CSX doesn’t get involved.
