It’s 1:20 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning and I’m awake putting together a doll house for under the tree. Wait, it is too early for Christmas.
However, it isn’t too early to schedule a meeting.
This coming Tuesday (27th), the Commission on Open Government will be meeting in Kissimmee. You might want to contact the commission and let them know you plan to speak. It’s a chance to speak your piece about the Polk County Rail Hub.
According to member Senator Paula Dockery, “the nine member Commission was created within the Governor’s Office of Open Government to review, evaluate, and issue recommendations regarding Florida ’s public records and public meetings laws.”
If you have something to say about the manner in which the rail hub deal was brokered, you’re a perfect candidate to speak.
