Seymour Denied Bail Reduction

After you read that a Bartow judge has refused to reduce Marshal Seymour’s bail take a look at an article about Seymour in yesterday’s Press-Register:

Seymour relocated to Lakeland from Mobile in 1999 — the same year that he pleaded guilty to third-degree assault of a teenage boy he knew from Parkway Assembly of God church on Dauphin Island Parkway. Three years later, the church’s insurance company settled a lawsuit with the boy’s family. — Press-Register

  1. This whole story is heart-breaking. It sickens me to hear what Seymour is accused of, and to know that there have been other instances elsewhere is infuriating.

Pile all of that on top of the fact that you like to think your children are safe at church or with church youth volunteers, and it makes me glad I don’t have kids.
