This afternoon, it was this photo that first alerted the media, and later, Lakeland officials, that something was afoot over Lake Hollingsworth. This obviously amateur photo captures a craft — the cigar shape over the child’s head — as it circles the lake. Experts were puzzled about the intentions of the craft. The UFO wasn’t projecting death rays or throwing the populace into panic. (Experts postulated an invisible “calming ray” and pointed to the child’s facial expression of, well, calmness, as proof.)
In this photograph we see the crack Lakeland Air Force First Response Investigation Outlook Team fly close to the UFO over Lake Hollingsworth. Again, note the UFO is not using its deadly death rays to strike the plane from the sky. Experts stated, “Obviously, they came in peace.”
This photo, taken minutes after the first, is the first glimpse of the UFO’s intentions! They altered the skin of their craft to the local language. Experts postulated, “The beings are merely searching for life!” Sadly, after following the many moving beings multiple times around Lake Hollingsworth, the UFOnauts were unable to make contact.
The incident didn’t throw the city into turmoil, as happened this morning when Boston citizens found huge Lite Brite characters on the loose. Local experts attributed the calm to the First Friday/ First Contact training events held monthly in downtown Lakeland.
UFO experts pointed to the child’s photograph and simply said, “Calming rays.”
In the likely event the UFO returns, citizens are asked not to run around their backyards taking photographs or video.
